Treasury teams have largely held steady in their work with diverse-owned capital markets firms, but those firms’ roles remain small. NeuGroup’s fourth annual survey, in collaboration with Fitch Group, draws on responses from treasury leaders at 46 U.S.-based companies and a member discussion of the results.

Key findings:
  • 74% left their approach unchanged over the past 12 to 24 months
  • 89% expect engagement to hold or grow
  • 65% name share-of-wallet commitments to relationship banks as the biggest barrier to doing more
  • Only 15% formally track what these firms deliver

The report shows where diverse-owned firms add the most value, where opportunities remain and how treasury teams can make these relationships count.
