We are pleased to welcome Ron Chakravarti to NeuGroup as Senior Executive Advisor.
Ron brings decades of global treasury and corporate banking experience spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of the Client Advisory Group at Citi, where he built and led a global team advising multinational corporations on treasury practices, liquidity management and working capital strategy.
Throughout his career, Ron has helped shape the treasury profession through advisory leadership, benchmarking innovation and strategic expertise, including the development of Citi Treasury Diagnostics and co-authoring the influential Citi GPS study "Treasury Leadership: Does it Matter?", which deepened industry-wide understanding of the connection between treasury excellence and superior financial performance. But for NeuGroup, this is also the continuation of a relationship nearly three decades in the making.
Ron has long been a trusted friend, thought partner and member of NeuGroup’s Editorial Advisory Board, contributing to how we think about research and practitioner needs. As Joseph Neu shared in a January 2024 Strategic Lab Podcast, “Ron is one of the top five most knowledgeable people on treasury in the world, particularly when it comes to cash, liquidity and treasury operations.” In his new role, Ron will help advance key strategic initiatives across research, member enablement, execution sprint programming and practitioner advisory, bringing greater depth and more measurable outcomes to the NeuGroup experience.
