NeuGroup Treasurers Symposium 2026 H2
Overview
The H2 2026 Treasurers Symposium will be held November 18–19 at onsemi in Scottsdale, AZ, sponsored by BBVA. Against a backdrop of post-midterm political realignment, ongoing tariff uncertainty, and continued pressure on treasury teams to operate leaner and smarter, this meeting brings together a senior peer group to share what is working, surface what is not, and build the connections that move both forward.
The format creates space for both structured dialogue and the kind of candid, informal exchange that tends to produce the most useful insights. A cocktail reception and dinner on the evening of November 18 will open the meeting and set the tone for the conversations that follow.

- Projects & Priorities — Members will share the one project where peer input would move them furthest in the next six months, creating a real-time map of where the group has expertise and where it needs support. Peer connections and execution sprints will be facilitated in follow-up.
- Post-Midterm Election Macro Update — With midterm results in hand, this session will examine what the new congressional composition means for corporate treasury: tax policy, trade and tariff direction, regulatory posture, and implications for capital markets activity and financing strategy heading into 2027.
- Capital Structure Refresh — Several members are actively rethinking buyback programs, commercial paper, and optimal liquidity frameworks as their companies return to or maintain investment grade. Members will examine how treasurers are balancing rating agency management, shareholder return commitments, and baseline liquidity in a higher-for-longer rate environment.
- Automation and AI in Treasury: Practical Solutions — Treasury teams are under persistent pressure to do more with less. This session takes a ground-level look at what is actually working: workflow automation that has reduced manual cash operations, AI tools that have compressed analytical turnaround from days to minutes, and practical approaches to building a data foundation that makes both possible. Members will share what they have deployed, what surprised them, and what they would do differently.
