FP&A Forecasting: Are we closer to an automated AI-Driven process than people think?

At our in-person meeting in March at Proctor & Gamble, one of our most active sessions came when we talked about “Forecasting Best Practices.” What followed was a lively discussion on the progress (or lack of progress) members have made in automating their process, and leveraging AI to cut down on the effort required. Several members expressed surprise at the advances some members have made.

Now it’s time to follow up and dig deeper. In this session, we’ll follow up on some of the questions raised like:

1. Is AI helping you produce more automated, frequent, and accurate forecasts?
2. How much time have you saved?
3. What is your process and your inputs? historical data? Statistical models? Predefined business drivers?
4. What tools are you leveraging?
5. What advances have you made, how much time have you saved, and how accurate are you new processes?
6. What lessons / best practices have you made?

We’ll start by asking a couple of members share a short overview of their progress, then go around the table to get updates from others and ask questions.
