We had a productive day of discussions at our October 7 in-person meeting in New York City, covering the priorities, challenges and opportunities facing CAOs as we look toward 2027.

- Review the key takeaways from our in-person meeting: We'll revisit the discussions around H&F's 2027 priorities, the future of accounting, same-day close and organizational transformation. Members who attended can share their biggest takeaways, while those who couldn't join will have an opportunity to ask questions and contribute.
- Continue the conversation on AI adoption and readiness: Building on our AI Workbench and AI readiness discussions, we'll compare where members are making progress, what challenges remain and which accounting use cases warrant a deeper dive.
- Follow up on member benchmarking and priorities: We'll revisit the initial CAO benchmarking survey findings, discuss opportunities for additional comparisons and hear how members' projects and priorities are evolving.
- Shape future discussions and meetings: We'll identify topics members would like to explore further, brainstorm potential speakers and begin outlining priorities for our next in-person meeting.
