NeuGroup is proud to celebrate Earth Day 2022 by reaffirming our companyâs commitment to helping corporations and their finance teams take meaningful action to promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. The theme of this yearâs Earth Day is â Invest In Our Planet ,â a call to action that captures the imperative for individuals, businesses and government to invest time, money and thought to combatting climate change and protecting the environment we all depend on. NeuGroup will continue to draw on the experience and knowledge of members, sponsors and partners who are leading the way in embracing sustainable finance to raise and invest capital, establish credit lines and purchase and fund renewable energy. Turning pledges and promises into practices and processes that will address scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is the foundation of our approach to producing meetings, research and insights that enable members to achieve their goals.
This week, we partnered with HSBC to bring members  a session on how tapping the debt capital markets fits a credible and successful ESG strategy. The week before,  U.S. Bank addressed tax equity investments as an ESG strategy. In the weeks to come, we will offer sessions sponsored by  DWS ,  Schroeders and  Societe Generale to explore topics including  moving beyond carbon offsets , finding  innovative solutions to comply with future regulations, and the current landscape for second party opinions. And thereâs more to come.
